I was lucky enough to be able to celebrate International Women’s Day at Hood Bar with a whole bunch of amazing and accomplished ladies from the Young Women’s Leadership Connection (YWLC).
The topics discussed by the speakers, including Minister, Ms Grace Fu (Prime Minister’s Office, Second Minister for the Environment and Water Resources and Second Minister for Foreign Affairs), Ms. Esther Loo (Executive Director, FNA Group International), Ms Junie Foo (Deputy General Manager, Asian Business Division) and Ms Judee Tan (Artist/Comedian, Fly Entertainment) were especially enriching, even for a bloke like me.
Gone should be the days where boys are favored over girls. Amongst such accomplished bunch. I am certainly hopeful my darling baby girl’s future is gonna be bright!
